Hillman Veterinary Clinic was founded in 1976, by Dr. Dwight Hillman.  In 1989 he was joined by his son, Dr. Andy Hillman after he graduated from The University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Chris Lewis, also a graduate of the University of Florida, joined the practice in 2009, after the death of Dr. Dwight Hillman.  Dr. Andy and Dr. Lewis, along with a dedicated staff, will work hard to make the life of your beloved pet long and comfortable.

Hillman Veterinary Clinic is a walk-in clinic, so no appointment is necessary for office visits.  Surgical, acupuncture, grooming and boarding services are also available by appointment.

Beyond first rate pet care, we make our clinic comfortable, kid-friendly, and a very calm environment so your pet can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting his or her own Pensacola veterinarian.

 

 

Appointments

No Appointment Necessary for office visits. Our receptionists and team will gladly assist in making appointments for grooming, boarding, acupuncture, and elective surgeries.  As we are a walk-in clinic, there is sometimes a wait.  We strive to work efficiently and see everyone in as timely a manner as possible.

Emergency & Urgent Care

Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency. Emergencies can be things such a dog attack, rat bait poisoning, hit by a car, and chocolate ingestion.

We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening.  Our veterinarians will work to see you as soon as possible.  When you arrive, our receptionists may be able to give you an estimate of how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.  In some cases, a veterinary technician will evaluate a pet's condition and alert a veterinarian if necessary.

Open Hospital

Hillman Veterinary Clinic operates an open hospital. This means that our team welcomes owners to be with their animals during most medical procedures when deemed appropriate by our veterinarians and staff.
