The annual Gulf Coast Renaissance Faire and Pirate Festival takes place at Santa Rosa Fairgrounds in Milton, Florida, over a weekend in early March. Visitors can expect to be immersed in a world of jousting, medieval theatre and music, Renaissance games of skill, falconry, and bustling merchants. You’ll blend in with the crowds, donned in fancy costumes, representing knights, royalty, magicians, gypsies, and other characters. Arabian dancers, fire breathers, jugglers, and a plethora of other performers keep everyone entertained. At the same time, the finger-licking treats make this festival even more delightful!
The fairgrounds opens to the public at 10 am, and the last events in the program are scheduled for 4:30 pm or 5 pm. The tickets are available at the gates only. Adults’ admission is $15 for a single day and $25 for the weekend. Also, note that pets are not allowed. As for the costumes, these are encouraged but not required. You may wear anything related to the past, and even something like Darth Vader.
